Built by a Contractor,
for Contractors
VAs for Construction was born from 23 years of living the exact problems we solve today.
Chad Gill
Founder, VAs for Construction · AI Implementation Consultant · Construction Industry Veteran
Chad Gill spent over two decades in the commercial construction industry before most contractors had heard the word "automation." He founded and ran Concreate Inc., a commercial concrete polishing, grinding, and coatings company working alongside general contractors on job sites across the region — estimating work, managing crews, chasing submittals, and doing every administrative task that nobody else had time for.
He knows what it looks like when a PM is buried. He's been the owner who couldn't get visibility into his own jobs without picking up the phone twenty times a day. He's felt the friction of a sloppy handoff from estimating to ops, watched bids go out late because the right person wasn't available, and managed the chaos of field-to-office communication that somehow never quite worked.
That experience didn't just give him credibility — it gave him a diagnostic eye. When AI tools started maturing, Chad didn't see software. He saw solutions to problems he'd lived for years.
He built VAs for Construction to solve the exact problems he couldn't solve fast enough inside his own company. Not by throwing technology at contractors and walking away, but by placing trained virtual assistants inside their businesses and then shepherding a real implementation process — transferring workflows, documenting SOPs, and automating the highest-ROI tasks first. The "crawl, walk, run" approach he developed through Laminin Coaching became the backbone of every engagement: get capacity first, then automate. In that order. Always.
Today Chad works with GCs and subcontractors who are curious about AI but don't know where to start — and more importantly, don't have time to figure it out on their own. He's not selling software. He's not selling a staffing solution. He's building the operational infrastructure that lets construction companies grow without adding overhead.
He speaks at industry events, consults with construction firms on AI adoption strategy, and runs the Blue Collar AI Workshop — a hands-on session designed to show contractors exactly where AI fits into their business today, not in theory.
If you've ever thought "I know AI could help us, I just don't know how to make it real" — that's exactly who Chad built this for.
Where Chad Has Spoken
Shepherd AI adoption for construction companies — one workflow at a time.
What We Believe
Capacity before automation
You need a human foundation before AI makes sense. Start with a VA, then automate.
Adoption beats tools
The best tool unused is worthless. We drive adoption so the technology actually sticks.
Construction-first
Generic AI advice does not work here. We know the industry, the workflows, and the people.
Progress over perfection
Start small, prove ROI, then expand. Perfection is the enemy of progress.
Three Brands. One Mission.
VAs for Construction
AI-trained virtual assistants and implementation sprints for construction companies. The service delivery arm — where contractors get VAs placed and workflows automated.
Laminin Coaching
Chad's AI enablement consulting practice. The strategic layer — advising construction firms on AI adoption strategy, change management, and organizational readiness. The "crawl, walk, run" framework originated here.
Blue Collar AI
The public brand for workshops, keynotes, and industry speaking. Construction-first AI education that starts conversations and creates alignment inside teams. Not corporate theory — real use cases from real contractors.
